The generous people of Nativity are always looking to help those in need. Here is one opportunity to help at the Emergency Shelter, located at 3000 S. University Dr. in Fargo.
As of April 27, 2009 the Y has the following needs:
Most Urgent Needs:
Hand soap, Dish soap, Double strollers, Gas and grocery gift cards, diapers size 6, and pack n’Play (portable cribs).
Food needs:
ANY AND ALL FOOD IS NEEDED, fresh/frozen meat, fruit, cheese, sauces, soups, box dinners, dry milk, toddler puffs and crackers, Pedialyte
Seasonal Clothing:
New boys boxers, sizes 5 and up, New children’s clothing, sizes 2T/3T, new children’s shoes, sizes 3 and up, women’s clothing plus sizes only, Children’s slippers
Household:
Dressers, disposable bibs, playtex sippy cups, laundry detergent, alarm clocks, children’s night lights, large garbage bags, new or gently used vacuums, disinfecting spray/wipes, batteries 9V and AA
Hygiene:
Pull-ups training pants (all sizes, especially 4T/5T), fingernail clippers, vaseline, cold medicine, medicine droppers for children
Other:
Appliance dolly, Forward-facing car seats and booster seats (must not be past inprinted expiration date or over six years past manufactured date), strollers, DVD players and VCR’s, Small televisions (new or gently used), bikes, kids and adults; training wheels sets.
All donations can be dropped off at the Emergency Shelter, located at 3000 S University Dr. Fargo, North Dakota.
