Pope Benedict XVI has declared this year, June 19, 2009 to June 19, 2010 the “Year of the Priest.” In order to share in this, Nativity has chosen to participate in Crusade of Prayer for Priests. This program is designed to strengthen and assist Bishop Aquila and the priests of the Fargo Diocese in their vocation.
Members who choose to participate will be encouraged either to pray for all priests or by adopting one priest and making a commitment to pray for him daily.
A meeting will be held Tuesday, June 30 to explain the program and choose a priest to support by prayer. The meeting will be held in the middle room/cafeteria from 7 to 8 PM. Information will be available for those who would like to participate but are unable to attend the evening meeting.
