A dedicated group of parishioners have been recycling on our Nativity campus for over a year now. Chairpersons Lorr and Al Evert, Jill Booth, Pat Colliton, Lillian Meyer and Susan McCullough have each been taking a week in an ongoing rotation to collect newspapers, magazines, paper, plastic, glass and aluminum generated at Nativity. Lorr’s hope is that their efforts will have an impact on future generations. I can assure her that the present generation, especially the staff at Nativity, greatly appreciates their efforts, as well as the efforts we are seeing from our Nativity School children. Our family has recycled at home for years, but it is especially encouraging to be able to do that at work, too.
