Dorothy Day House is a volunteer based organization that provides meals and shelter for homeless and low income persons. This is made possible through the hard work of volunteers. The mission of Dorothy Day House is to provide a consistent, caring presence for the poor and homeless. They are hospitality. “We are our brother’s (sister’s) keeper”, we need to care for our neighbor in need even when it requires sacrifices on our part. Nativity volunteers are needed to prepare and serve one evening meal on the 2nd of each month at Dorothy Day House, 714 8th St. S., Moorhead, MN 56560.
