First Reconciliation – 2nd Grade and older

Our preparation programs help our children grow spiritually toward an understanding of the healing and happiness that comes through reconciliation with God and with others. Children must be baptized before beginning preparation for this sacrament

First Reconciliation (Penance): Children in grade 2 are invited to celebrate their Sacrament of Reconciliation at the Parish Lenten  Reconciliation Services at Nativity Church.

Preparation phase includes three Wednesday evening parent/child preparation sessions and one Sunday parent/child retreat. 

The preparation sessions for both parent and child are as follows:

Wednesday session, February 20, 6:30-7:30 PM, Nativity Church

Wednesday session,  March 6, 6:30-7:30 PM, Nativity Church

Sunday retreat, March 10, 1:00-4:00 PM, Nativity Church

Wednesday session, March 13, 6:30-7:30 PM, Nativity Church

The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be celebrated during the Lenten Reconciliation Service,  Thursday, March 21, 7:00 PM, at Nativity Church.
