Our preparation programs help our children grow spiritually toward an understanding of the healing and happiness that comes through reconciliation with God and with others. Children must be baptized before beginning preparation for this sacrament
Regular attendance and active participation in a faith formation program is required for the reception of First Reconciliation which typically takes place in the second grade. Special handouts are given to the family to be completed at home. This is a tremendous bonding time between you and your child. Children and parents preparing for their child’s First Reconciliation attend Wednesday evening sessions and a Sunday afternoon parent/child retreat at Nativity Church.
Parent and child preparation sessions includes two Wednesday evening sessions and one Sunday afternoon session.
