CYA will meet in the Nazareth room on Thursday, January 12th from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM. Child care will be provided in the youth room during that time. We will be having a potluck followed by a presentation on Christ Renews His Parish and book discussion on chapters 9-11 in “Rediscover Catholicism”. See you then!

The next time CYA meets will be this Thursday, Dec. 22nd in the Bethlehem room at Nativity at 6:30PM. Child care will be provided in the youth room. We will start the night off with a speaker, Betty Hund, who would like to talk to us about a program called Youth in Theology and Ministry (YTM). She came to talk to me last week about the program and I am really excited to have her talk to our group; I’ve been trying to find something for our group to help sponsor/belong to, be a part of, and help us connect with the youth at Nativity and I think YTM may be what I’ve been looking for! Betty will talk to us about YTM from 6:30 – 6:45ish, then we will help Nativity prepare for their Christmas Eve Mass and Dinner by working on whatever Angie Olson, the program director, needs help with.

CYA will be meeting on Thursday, December 8th for the Immaculate Conception mass at 6:30PM followed by book discussion on chapters 2-8 of “Rediscover Catholicism” @ Luna Coffee. Child care will be provided for the time we are at Luna.

CYA will be wrapping shoe boxes of gifts for Operation Christmas Child on November 10th in the Youth Room followed by a “Theology on Tap” session at Vista Inn & Suites on the Roman Missal changes.
CYA will gather at the rectory for this week’s meeting. Child care will be provided in the Youth Room - same room as last time. We will go through our schedule for the year, discuss community service opportunities and have discussion on the first chapter of our group read, “Rediscover Catholicism”. See you there!
Hi Everyone,
This year Nativity will have their first young adult group, Catholic Young Adults (CYA), for ages 21-39, single or married. Help us get this year off to a good start by attending the CYA potluck on Thursday, October 6th, at 6:30PM in the Nazareth Room at Nativity.
At our potluck, we will discuss what things we would like to work into the calendar this year, such as a bible study, book club, community service projects, dinners, sports activities, theology on tap etc.
If you are unable to find a babysitter for this event, FREE CHILD CARE WILL BE PROVIDED in the Youth Room. Please contact Desirée Wilson at 232-2414 or desireew@nativitycatholicchurch.net to RSVP and coordinate what to bring to the potluck.
