“Boxes of Joy” Project

November 16, 2017 UPDATE:
Thank you to everyone who filled a “Box of Joy”! We collected over 50 boxes that are being shipped today! Your generosity makes a huge difference!!!

Nativity Youth Ministry invites you to fill a “Box of Joy” (shoebox or small plastic container)  with small toys, school supplies, non-liquid hygiene items, hard candy, etc. and return the filled box to the parish by Wednesday, November 15th.

Cross Catholic Outreach will send the boxes to children living in poor regions of Haiti, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua. The children who receive these boxes are in communities where Catholic missionaries are serving and will receive the boxes this Christmas.

If you’re able, a donation of $9 helps to cover shipping costs and a portion goes to support the Catholic ministries serving in the child’s community. (If you’re able to help fill a box but unable to donate the $9, please bring the box back and the $9 will be covered by a generous donor.)

Cross Catholic Outreach has a goal of reaching 60,000 children this Christmas, the second year of this project. Would you consider helping us reach this goal?
