Meet Your Youth Leaders!

Meet Josie!

Hi! I am Josie Breen and I am currently a Senior at NDSU in the Public Relations
and Advertising program. I was born and raised in Fargo and am the middle of
seven kids!

I graduated from Shanley High School in 2008 and was in swimming,
Teens for Life, and was a writer for the S.H.A.C.K. I am involved with the
Newman Center on campus and really enjoy the people I have met there!

I enjoy running, being with my family and friends, and staying
busy!

I am looking forward to getting to know the kids that come to WOW
and LinC. Junior high and high school is an important growth time in peoples lives
and I am excited to watch the kids that come grow in their faith as well as
growing in my own!

Meet Kayla!

Hi! My name is Kayla Richmond and I am a senior at Shanley High School. I have lived in Fargo since I was two. I have been going to Catholic schools since I was in kindergarten and I am a member of Nativity parish. I have two sisters, a twin sister named Kelcie and an older sister named Andrea.

I have never been to a youth group before, so this is new for me, but I am hoping to teach the students at W.O.W., or at least help them learn, that now is the most crucial time when we all need our faith. The teenage years are difficult years when we are trying to figure out where we belong and what we are supposed to be doing with our lives. I’m hoping that they can learn that it is okay to have God in their lives.

 Meet Desirée!

Hello! My name is Desirée Wilson. I am Nativity’s Youth and Young Adult Ministry Coordinator. My goals for WOW and LinC are to provide fun Catholic group leaders that exemplify what it means to be good examples of Christ in today’s world, keep students involved with local service opportunities to help make a difference in our community and help them to learn about their Catholic faith in a fun and inviting environment. Of course, there is always room for fun, food and games!
