Please keep in mind the following deadlines for contributions credited to the 2017 tax year.
- Investment Securities Transfers: Transfer completed by midnight on December 31, 2017.
- Cash & check contributions-delivered: Received at the office no later than Noon on December 22, 2017 as the office will be closed the week between Christmas and New Year. Weekend and Christmas collections for December 24th and 25th and December 31st will be included in the 2017 statements.
- Cash & check contributions-mailed: Postmarked no later than midnight on December 31, 2017.
- Bank Transfers & Credit Card contributions: Self-managed requests can be made using our website: http://www.nativitycatholicchurch.net/admin/autowithdrawal/. Requests for processing by Nativity must be received at the office no later than Noon on December 22, 2017. (The IRS requires that transactions must be completed by December 31, 2017.)
Remember, backdating a check to 2017 and then mailing it or delivering it after December 31, 2017 DOES NOT qualify. The IRS is very firm about this. It is important that we follow the IRS rules in order to maintain our tax exempt status. Thank you for your cooperation.
