How to make a Spiritual Communion
The U.S. Bishops website contains links to online Mass. http://www.usccb.org/about/communications/online-masses-during-coronavirus-crisis.cfm
If that’s not possible, you may do the following:
1. Make the Profession of Faith
2. Read and reflect on the readings for Mass that day (see page 5)
3. Pray the Our Father
Whether you watch a televised Mass or pray together at home, include this beautiful prayer:
My Jesus, I believe that you are in the Blessed Sacrament. I love you above all things, and I long for you in my soul. Since I cannot now receive you Sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though you have already come, I embrace you and unite myself entirely to you; never permit me to be separated from you.
