There&#8217;s nothing wrong with their seed, society never allowd them the space to grow as tall as everybody else. Muhammad Yunus<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus is well known to the supporters of micro-lending. His amazing story \u2013beginning with his personal loan of $27 to 42 poor villagers in Bangladesh \u2013 ultimately led to the founding of Grameen Bank. His banking program, which provided loans for people who often could not get credit \u2013 poor people and most often women, has launched a variety of business ventures and has been helping lift families out of poverty for over 30 years. Microcredit now exists on every continent and has benefitted over 100 million families. His Grameen Bank has an astonishing 98% rate of return.<br \/>\nBonsai People is an award-winning documentary film by Holly Mosher that both describes the principles of microcredit, but also introduces his newest approach to combatting world poverty \u2013a venture he calls social business.
