Our Thanksgiving Offertory Collection this year will benefit Churches United for the Homeless and Central Cities Ministries.
\nChurches United is the only shelter in town that can house a mom, dad and children together, and its family rooms are always full. It serves hundreds of meals each week and provides other necessities for homeless persons. We prepare and serve brunch there on the 5th Saturday of the month.
\nCentral Cities Ministries is a collaboration of area faith communities that serves far beyond its original focus of the \u201ccenter\u201d of Fargo-Moorhead. It is considered to be somewhat of a \u201c last chance\u201d for help because it responds to a variety of needs that can\u2019t be met anywhere else. It also assists with the Sheltering Churches Project in winter.
\nBoth of these organizations are part of our Care and Share Ministries.
