The Hands of Jesus

As a way to share Christmas joy, the Charismatic Prayer Meeting members have chosen to give gloves to those in need in Fargo as a way to recognize the care God has given us and continues to give us. The warm gloves will be given to a shelter in the area to distribute to those that would benefit from them.

St.Teresa of Avila (1515–1582)stated it well when she wrote the following:

Christ Has No Body

Christ has no body but yours,
No hands, no feet on earth but yours,
Yours are the eyes with which he looks
Compassion on this world,
Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good,
Yours are the hands, with which he blesses all the world.
Yours are the hands, yours are the feet,
Yours are the eyes, you are his body.
Christ has no body now but yours,

compassion on this world.
