Hispanic Heritage Month continues through the 15th

Saturday Oct. 2 International Nonviolence Day
Sunday Oct. 4 Respect Life Sunday
Tuesday Oct. 5 Social Justice meeting and presentation on “Stepping Stones,”
a group meeting the needs of homeless or at-risk young people ages 14-22. The talk
will begin at approximately 7:15[m in the Bethlehem (following the 6:30 Soc. Justice
meeting. All are welcome for both or either parts of the meeting.
Monday Oct. 11 “God in America,” a co-production of Frontline and American Experience , explores the intersection of religion and public life in America over the last 400 years. It will be shown on three consecutive evenings at 8:00pm on Prairie Public TV/Ch. 13.
Wednesday Oct. 13 Project Homeless Connect at the FargoDome. Volunteers are still needed. Go to www. fmhomeless.org for more information.

Sunday Oct. 17 International Day for Eradification of Poverty and Bread for the World Sunday

Monday Oct. 18 “Global Energy and Carbon: Tracking our Footprint” at 9:30pm on Ch. 13/PPTV

Wednesday Oct. 20 Consumer Choices sponsored by the Pres. Peace and Justice Collaborative at 7:00pm at 3001 South 11th Street.

Thursday Oct. 21 Pax Christi presentation by Arland Jacobson on the current Arab-Israeli conflict at 7:00pm at Riverview Place.

Sunday Oct. 24 United Nations Day
Monday Oct. 25 “Out of the Air and into the Soil: Land Practices That Reduce Our Atmospheric Carbon at 9:30pm on Prairie Public TV/Ch. 13.
