Seeking Wisdom With James
In his only New Testament letter, James invites us all, “If any of you lacks wisdom, may you ask God who gives to all generously.” Come share a journey in seeking wisdom from this letter. We will study the letter line by line and share our insights, our puzzles, and our longings in response to James’ words. A commentary resource will provide a gateway into the experience of shared reflection, dialogue, encouragement, and inspiration. The goal is for all of us to develop skills that will make our personal reading of Scripture more fruitful. I hope that everyone leaves each class session with a joyful heart exclaiming, “These words of Scripture SPEAK to ME!”
