Take Some Time…
This lent, we are offering various ways to reflect on the meaning of Jesus’ passion — his journey to the cross and his resurrection. At noon we will have Lenten Prayer and at 7:00 pm we will have the Stations of the Cross.
The Lenten Prayer is based on St. John Paul’s Scriptural Stations of the Cross, using scripture accounts of the Passion. The prayer is meditative, so through most of the prayer, participants remain seated. This prayer is 15 minutes long. The Stations of the Cross at 7:00 pm are the more traditional Stations of the Cross.
These prayer opportunities are each Friday, beginning February 16 until March 22. We are looking forward to seeing you there.
Update: During Lent, a Soup and Sandwich Supper will also be available at Nativity from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Fridays before Stations of the Cross. A Free Will Offering will be requested.
